Be forewarned, comrades: few, if any, of the photos conform to the glorious Soviet standard of socialist realism, and I suspect that some of them may be even serving counterrevolutionary purposes!

I don't understand how people continue to defend Stalin.
You don't have to look far for people (who should be smart enough to know better) kissing a dictator's ass. In Stalin's case, there has always been a number of people unwilling to admit that the Soviet fantasy bore no relation to the reality. Dreams die hard.
